Welcome & Introduction

Our group was formed in January 2002, following a meeting held in Sydney, Cape Breton, as part of an initiative by the Sisters of Charity in Canada and the United States. We are an independent, informal and non-hierarchal group of concerned citizens, dedicated to providing a forum for discussion of issues of - and alternatives to - violence and abuse in our communities, our region, our nation and our world.
